Mr. Simon Q. Hucks, age 89, of Nichols, SC, passed away at McLeod Loris Hospital on January 6, 2026.  Mr. Hucks was the son of the late Arvey and Rodia Turner Hucks. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hucks is also predeceased his first wife: Mrs. Virginia Hucks; his second wife: Sarah G. Hucks; one daughter: Theresa Anderson; and two grandchildren: Brandon Shea Faircloth and Andy Anderson Jr. Mr. Hucks is survived by one son: Simon Hucks Jr. (Lorie), three daughters: Jackie Faircloth (Ronald), Dorothy Johnson, and Patsy Phipps; one brother: Truluck Hucks; one sister: Eliza Jane Martin; seven grandchildren: Tim Faircloth, April Holden, Kristen Davis, Tabitha Williamson, Jeri Phipps, Donnie Brown and DJ Johnson; twelve grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Services for Mr. Hucks will be held at a later date.
