Mr. Stevie R. Smith, age 74, of Galivants Ferry, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Stevie was the son of the late John R. and Willa Mae Dix Smith. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his siblings, Sara Ellen Keirn and Mike Smith, sister in law Lindy Foxworth Smith and brother in law Audi Rabon. Mr. Stevie loved his family fiercely, beach music and spending time on the water. Surviving Mr. Stevie are his daughter, Stephanie Smith; son, Joshua " Fred" Smith (Johnson Nye); grandchildren, Ariana Marini Clark (Mason), Raleigh Smith, and Reynolds “Reni” Smith; brothers, John Smith, David Smith (Joyce); and sisters, Janice Hendrick (Tony) and Martha Rabon. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Graham officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service.
