Mrs. Thelma Herring, age 88, wife of the late Joseph Carlton Herring passed away at Carolina Gardens January 6, 2024. Mrs. Herring was born August 23, 1935, a daughter of the late Richard "Dick" and Annie Edwards Richardson. She was a member of Rehobeth Baptist Church and was predeceased by one daughter, Patricia Dean and several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Herring is survived by two sons: Joseph Herring and Don Herring (Deirdre); one daughter: Peggy Wisecarver; five grandchildren: Jamie, Michael, Connie, Amanda and Kendall; and four great grandchildren. Memorial services will be announced by the family at a later date.
