Mr. Thomas "T.K." Smith, age 89, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his three daughters.  Mr. T.K. was the husband of the late Nora James Smith and son of the late John Gary and Leitha Lambert Smith.  In addition to his wife and parents, he is predeceased by one brother, LaRue Smith and one sister, Vivian Matthews.  Mr. Smith was a member of Pisgah Global Methodist Church of Galivants Ferry.  He served his country in the US Army and later in life found enjoyment playing golf.  Mr. T.K. retired from Horry County Assessor's Office where he served as a real estate appraiser.  Surviving Mr. T.K. are his three daughters: Amy Davis (Robert), Ann Hambrick (John), and Julia Coker (Greg); seven grandchildren: Dustin Davis, Major James Davis of the US Air Force, Trey Davis, Dr. Walter Hambrick, Lt. Jesse Hambrick of the US Airforce, Lt. JG Grayson Coker of the US Navy, and David Coker; a beloved niece: Phyllis Evans; and a special friend and caregiver: Elaine Martin.  The family would like to send a special thank you to Crescent Hospice and Myrtle Beach Grove for the great care and love they showed Mr. T.K.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Pisgah Global Methodist Church with Rev.
