Thomas Lawrence Thorn age 86 of El Bethel Road in Conway, SC passed away November 27, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Thorn was born June 29, 1928 in Moundsville, West Virginia, a son of the late Ted and Mildred Gray Thorn. Mr. Thorn served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was predeceased by one sister, Claudine Skoda. Surviving Mr. Thorn in addition to his wife Mrs. Deloris L. Thorn of the home are two sons, Greg Thorn (Carol Sue) of Richmond, Virginia, Philip Thorn (Cheryl), of Myrtle Beach, SC, one daughter, Christina Caputo (Michael) of Rivesville, West Virginia, two brothers, James Thorn of Cleveland, Ohio William Thorn of Manning, SC six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM Sunday November 30, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Mr. Thorn's memory to Heartland Hospice, 2411 North Oak Street Suite 108 Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
