Mr. Timothy "Timmy" Cox, age 61, passed away October 2, 2020 at McLeod Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.  Mr. Cox was born May 29, 1959, a son of the late Jimmie and Frances Cox.  He enjoyed racing go-karts and motocross.  Mr. Cox is survived by two daughters:  Heather Freeman (Eric) of Pamplico, SC, Lacey Locklair of Ruskin, Florida; one brother: Rev. Marty Cox of Galivants Ferry; one sister: Juan Sanders of Hemingway; and three grandchildren: Rylan Locklair, Linley Kate Freeman, and Cullen Freeman.  Graveside services will be held 3:30 PM Monday, October 5, 2020 at Old Johnsonville Cemetery with the Rev. Frankie Tanner officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the home of Mrs. Juan Sanders, 409 Cox Road Hemingway, SC 29554.
