Travis O. Johnson's Obituary

Mr. Travis O. Johnson, age 73 of Aynor went to be with the Lord on Sunday July 5, 2020.  He was born June 18, 1947, a son of the late EL and Bera Jane Johnson.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Johnson was predeceased by one sister, Carolyn J. Drew.  Mr. Johnson was a member of Aynor First Baptist Church where he was very active.  He served as a Deacon, Choir Director, and Sunday School Teacher.  He was a devoted Christian and enjoyed attending gospel concerts along with singing solos at church.  Mr. Johnson enjoyed a career of farming the land he was raised on with his two sons.  He is survived by the love of his life, Mrs. Judy Carroll Johnson of 51 years, two sons, Alan Johnson (Missy), Trent Johnson (Tara), four grandchildren, Rabon Johnson (Courtney), Georgia Jordan (Michael Ryan), Anna Leigh Johnson and Luke Johnson, one sister, Vera Bennett, three brothers, Milton Johnson (Vera), Kennith Johnson (Jean), David Johnson (Gail), and many nieces and nephews.  Mr. Johnson's funeral service will be held 4:00 PM Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at the Aynor First Baptist Church with the Dr. Micha Lane officiating.  Visitation will follow in the church fellowship immediately following the church service.  Please remember to follow all social distancing guidelines and recommendations.  Private burial will take place at the Aynor Cemetery.  Memorials can be made in Mr. Johnson's memory to the Music Department at Aynor First Baptist Church, PO Box 651 Aynor, SC 29511.
