Mr. Wayne Skipper, age 70, of Galivants Ferry passed away at his residence June 10, 2021.  Mr. Wayne is the husband of Donzelle Roberts and the son of the late Jenkins and Myrtis Richardson Skipper.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Billy Graham and one sister, Loretta Skipper.  Mr. Skipper was a heavy machine operator for CL Benton and Sons for 32 years.  He was a hog farmer, tobacco/corn farmer, and loved pig picking with family and friends.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: Murphy Skipper (Deana) and Mikie Thompson (Erica); one daughter: Kaye Graham Vereen (Nate); one daughter-in-law: Tonya Graham; seven grandchildren: Alexis Graham, Brooke Graham, Janxcee Mae Skipper, Arli Claire Jordan, Karson Thompson, Kalee Thompson, and Kyle Berberick; one great grandchild: Gloria Ruiz Torres; and one sister: Beth Pulliam (Mike).  Funeral services for Mr. Wayne will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Pisgah United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Burks, Payne Skipper, and Nelson Roberts officiating the service.  The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
