Mrs. Willa "Betty" Strickland, age 68, wife of Mr. David Marshall Strickland passed away August 9, 2016 at her residence with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Strickland was born April 1, 1948 a daughter of the late William and Leila Alford Johnson. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. Mrs. Strickland was predeceased by two brothers, her infant brother Jack Johnson, and J.D. Johnson, and two sisters, Alene Gasque, and Corene Coker. In Addition to her husband of the home, Mrs. Strickland is survived by one son, Kenneth Strickland (Angie) of Nichols, one daughter, Michelle Skipper (Gene) of Conway, one brother, Clyo Johnson of Roebuck, two sisters, Mary Jane McLeod of Aynor, Mae Cribb of Roebuck, two grandchildren, Cody Strickland (Hope), Bayley Wilson, one step grandson, Thorne Skipper, one great grandchild, Kameron Strickland, a soon to be great granddaughter, Sadie Strickland, and a special niece, Jeanette Brown. The family would like to thank Mrs. Linda with Gentiva Home Health, Regency Hospice, Dr. Emily Touloukian, and the staff of Coastal Cancer Center for all there help and compassionate care.

VISITATION

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday August 11, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor.

FUNERAL SERVICE

Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Friday August 12, 2016 at Pleasant View Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Kirkland officiating.

BURIAL

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
