Mr. William E. Hecker, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on May 25, 2022 at Marion Hospital.  Mr. Hecker was the husband of Anita Hecker and the son of Robert and Joan Swanton Hecker.  Mr. William will be remembered as being a loving husband, father and Pop Pop to his grandchildren.  He was the former Fire Chief and Commissioner of Lake Mohegan Volunteer Fire Department and a retired Emergency Dispatcher for Westchester County 60 Control.  Mr. William loved his two dogs: Dakota and Shadow.  In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. William is survived by one son: Michael Hecker (Ashley); one daughter: Jennifer Hecker (Giovanni); two grandchildren: Marcello and Giovanna; and his siblings: Robert, Patricia, John, Joan, Linda, and Susan.  A memorial service for Mr. William Hecker will be held at a later date in New York.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Lake Mohegan Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 162 Mohegan Lake, NY 10547.
