Mr. William Combs, age 76, husband of the late Margaret Hardee Combs, passed away June 3, 2021 at Conway Manor.  Mr. Combs was born August 14, 1944, a son of the late Cola Combs and the late Laura Combs Godsey.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Combs was predeceased by one son: Troy Douglas Combs; one brother: Charles Godsey Jr.; and his step father and step mother: Charles Godsey Sr. and Virginia Mae Combs.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.   Mr. Combs is survived by one son: William "Billy" Combs (Karen); three grandchildren: William Blake Combs, Eric Johnson, and Michelle Johnson; two great grandchildren: Kendell Johnson and Brooke Hart; three brothers: Ishmael Combs, James Allen Combs, and Cleon Godsey; and two sisters: Katherine Grigsby and Susie Bethencourt.  Funeral services for Mr. Combs will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Hardee officiating.  Burial will follow at Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2:00-2:45 PM.
