Mr. William Henry Edwards Jr., age 73, of Galivants Ferry, went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 26, 2026, at his residence. Mr. Henry was the son of the late Henry and Velma Martin Edwards Sr. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Barbara Fontano. Mr. Henry was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church, where he loved worshiping with his fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. He was a member of the Masons along with the Shriners. Surviving Mr. Henry are his wife, Delma Edwards; two daughters, Christy Edwards Boyd and Tonya Edwards; grandchildren, Houston Rabon, Austin Rabon, and SaraBella Rabon; brothers, Larry Edwards (Mickie) and Jerry Lee Edwards (Gail); and many extended family and friends. The family will receive friends in the sanctuary of Pleasant Union Baptist Church from 10:00 to 10:45 prior to the service. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating. Burial will be private.
