Billy Richardson

Mr. Billy Richardson, age 80 husband of Mrs. Annette Allen Richardson, passed away August 23, 2014 at Carolinas Hospital System surrounded by his family. Mr. Richardson was born December 4, 1933 a son of the late Bill and Suebell Roberts Richardson. He was predeceased by one sister, Kathleen R. Brown, and four brothers, Eugene, Julian, Jim, and K.W. Richardson. Mr. Richardson was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church and served in the United States Army. He retired from Merita Bread Company after 41 years of service, was a cofounder of Rolling Hills Golf Club and a member of the Hampton Masonic Lodge #204 in Florence. Surviving Mr. Richardson in addition to his wife of the home are one son, Billy Dean Richardson, one daughter, Debbie Richardson Bracey and her husband Robbie all of Florence, one sister, Irma Richardson Causey of Conway, six grandchildren, Landra Bracey Calcutt and husband Brian, Landon Bracey, Jenna Richardson Swindler and husband Adam, Jordan Richardson, Will Richardson, Kristen Richardson all of Florence and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday August 25, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday August 26, 2014 at Mt. Herman Baptist Church with the Rev. Ragsdale Allsbrook and Rev. Jimmy Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
