Bobby Lundy Jr., born September 30, 1967, passed away at his home on September 15, 2020, after a 16 year struggle with cancer. Mr. Lundy was born and raised in Aynor, S.C. where he attended the Aynor schools, and Mount Herman Baptist Church. In 1989 he moved to Charlotte, N.C., and worked for many years as a carpenter with Randy Causey. As a carpenter he built his own home, and worked remodeling the homes of some of Charlotte’s most distinguished citizens. In 2003 he became a member of East Calvary Baptist Church, Charlotte, N.C. Surviving Mr. Lundy are his wife Donna Martin Lundy, daughters Dawn and Samantha Lundy, son Robert Lundy, and granddaughter Annabelle Lundy, all of Charlotte, N.C.; his mother N. Louise Causey (Randy) of Loris, S.C.; his father, Bobby Lundy of Aynor, S.C.; sister, Janet Gordon (Thomas) of Charlotte, N.C., brothers Dennis Lundy of Cheraw, S.C., and Chad Causey (Karen) of Loris, S.C. He is predeceased by sisters Christie Kilbourne, and Cynthia Lundy. The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. Bobby Lundy Sr., Friday, September 18, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Mt. Herman Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Floyd and Rev. Matt Broadway officiating.
