Dennise Faye Morris

Dennise Faye Morris, 73, passed away at home on 12/28/21 surrounded by her family. She was born in Marion County on 27, August 1948, the daughter of Loreen Johnson and the late Dennis Johnson. Faye was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She exemplified devotion through thoughtful and caring acts for others. She enjoyed seasonal decorations, working outdoors, cutting her lawn and caring meticulously for her flowers and plants. She loved her Mt. Trolly church family, doing the weekly church sign and planting flowers. She also enjoyed watching the grandchildren’s PDA athletic games. She did secretarial work and took care of the grandkids as needed. Faye was predeceased by her father: Dennis Johnson; brothers: Walter Thomas and Frank Johnson; and a sister: Janice Johnson. Mrs. Morris is survived by her mother: Loreen Johnson; daughters: Sonya Foster (Ken) and Tonya Martin (DuRant); grandchildren: Lindsay and Ashley Martin; step grandchildren: Jennifer Martin Wilson, Kristen Martin, Johnathan Martin, and Megan Foster; and sisters: Connie Elliott (Maxie Wayne), Patsy Turner (Glen) and Cora Barnhill (Larry). A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Rehobeth United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Timmy Hodge and Rev. Jason Brewer officiating.  In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Mt. Trolly Freewill Baptist Church, 1782 Barnhill Road Galivants Ferry, SC 29544. The family request that everyone attending please follow all CDC social distance guidelines.
