Julie L. Johnson, wife of Truman Johnson unexpectedly passed away July 4, 2020. Mrs. Johnson was born May 1, 1950. She was predeceased by her father, Fred Lanford. Mrs. Johnson loved being outdoors. She was a bicycle enthusiast and loved riding with her AGG Girls. She and Truman enjoyed many days fishing on the Little Pee Dee River and the Cherry Grove Inlet. She loved being “Grammy” and attended everything her grandchildren participated in, from many softball games to soccer games. In addition to her husband of the home, Mrs. Johnson is survived by her mother, Betty Duckworth (Gerald), one daughter, Paulette Johnson (Robert), one son, Rett Johnson (Heather), three grandchildren, Maddie Grace Johnson, Conner Everrett Johnson, Macy Grier Johnson, one brother, Freddie Lanford (Nancy), and many beloved brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Johnson’s graveside service will be held 10:30 Tuesday July 7, 2020 at Happy Home Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Rusty Brown officiating. The family will visit briefly after the service before returning home. Please follow all Covid-19 regulations and guidelines.
