Mayo Hubert Lewis, Jr.

Mr. Mayo Hubert Lewis, Jr. of Aynor passed away at his residence on July 30, 2023. Mr. Lewis was born July 26, 1962 to Delilah Johnson Lewis and the late Mayo Hubert Lewis, Sr.  In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his best friend, Mr. Mike Bell, owner of Mike Bell Construction.  Mr. Lewis loved his children, family, riding motorcycles, and was a great carpenter.  More than anything, he loved his mother, Mrs. Delilah.  Mr. Mayo is survived by one son: Austin Gage Lewis (Taylor Green Lewis); one daughter: Brittany Nicole Lewis; five grandchildren: Kaylee Lewis, Mavrick Lewis, McKinzie Lewis, Hailey Lightsey, and Caden Lightsey; one great grandchild: Nyzir Mcgill; and one sister: June Anch.  Funeral services for Mr. Lewis will be held 2:00 PM Monday, August 7, 2023, at Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Jason Cook officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home
