Vycell Miller Obituary

Mr. Vycell Miller, age 85, husband of Mrs. Letha Tyler Miller, passed away January 17, 2021 at Conway Medical Center following an illness.  Mr. Miller was born August 12, 1935, a son of the late Homer E. and Louvenia Matthews Miller.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Miller was predeceased by four brothers and 3 sisters.  Mr. Miller was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church and a lifetime member of the Conway DAV Chapter 57.  He served in the United States Navy.  Mr. Miller enjoyed spending time with his family.  In addition to his wife of the home, Mr. Miller is survived by three daughters: Deirdre Faulk of Aynor; Sylvia Sealey (Darrell) of Florence; Deborah Cartrette (John) of Loris; seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; and a special great niece and great nephew, Abby Jones and Jayden Jones.  Graveside services for Mr. Miller will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Johnson officiating.  Memorials can be made in Mr. Miller’s honor to Pleasant Union Baptist Church, 2940 Minnick Road Aynor, SC 29511.  The family would like to thank Conway Medical Center and their staff for everything they have done for Mr. Miller and his family.  Please remember to wear your mask and practice all social distancing guidelines while attending the service.  For those that cannot attend the service, it will be live streamed on Johnson Funeral Home Face book page.
